Barbara Ann Carpenter Maroney died at Huntsville Hospital from complications from cancer surgery. "Staff Infection"
She is preceded in death by husband Hubert Floyd Shaneyfelt, a daughter Sherry Jane Shaneyfelt, a daughter Mary Elizabeth Maroney age 7 weeks and a son James O'neal Maroney age 20.
She is survived by her husband O'neal Maroney, one son Donald Lee Maroney, one daughter Shirley Ann Maroney Ivey, 3 grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Carpenter of Huntsville and James Edward (Jimmy) Carpenter of Hazel Green Alabama, one sister Geraldine (Jerri) Baker of Huntsville.

Barbara was a good soul, she was the twin to our mother & she was quiet & gentle. She developed early onset Alzheimer's & then cancer, poor Barbara!
No one should lose a child & she lost three.
I love you & miss you sister.
