She was born April 27, 1927, in Prosperity, daughter of the late John B. and Gail Wendell Tharp.
On February 19, 1946, she married Andrew Clyde Bedilion, who died November 9, 2011.
Mrs. Bedilion was a homemaker and had worked as a seamstress at Greenway Manufacturing and Berkowitz Manufacturing in Waynesburg.
She also helped her husband manage Bedilion's Garage in Graysville.
She was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Graysville and the Women's Auxiliary of Graysville Volunteer Fire Company.
She participated in several local bowling leagues and enjoyed playing bingo and fishing.
Surviving is five children, Glenda Griffith, William Arvin Clyde Bedilion, Patrick Andrew Bedilion, and Alva Kenneth Bedilion, all of Graysville, and Eric S. Bedilion of Sycamore; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Nellie Durbin of Rogersville, Shirley Justice of Stow, Ohio, and Carolyn Davenport of Waynesburg.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a granddaughter, Daianara Dawn Bedilion; five brothers, Jack, Kenneth, Carl, Fred, and Johnny Tharp; and a sister, Pauline Strope.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, with Pastor Lanny Hewitt officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Wind Ridge.
