PFC Cass Thomas Proffitt was the son of Guy & Alene Proffitt.
He was killed in action during World War II in Okinawa, Japan on May 2, 1945 & his body was never recovered.
His memorial military marker was set by his parents' grave in Oak Hill Cemetery on May 21, 2012.
