Marion Badgley, 68 years old, residing four miles north of this city on the Caseyville road, died Tuesday afternoon in St. Elizabeth's Hospital from paralysis. His death occurred on day after his 68th birthday anniversary.
Deceased was a son of Ephram Badgley and was born in St. Clair Township, October 19, 1846. He was married to Lena Hemmer who preceded him in death, October 9, 1899.
He leaves two children:
Louis P. Badgley, Grand Chain, Ill.
Mrs. Laura Fournie, St. Clair Township
Ten grandchildren also survive.
The body will be shipped to Grand Chair, Ill., and interment will take place sometime tomorrow.
