From Laclede County, Missouri Record Book 1964 Page 72...Amos Basnett, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Erastus E. Basnett passed away at the family home in Boulder, Colorado on 20 August 1964. He was 85 years old. On June 23, 1913 he was united in marriage with Pearl Saunders, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. (James) Monroe Saunders of Lebanon. To this union twelve children were born. Eleven sons and one daughter. Burial was in Boulder, Colorado.
