Obituary: C. W. Schroeder Dies at Age 74

C. Willis Schroeder, 74, of 600 Pirate Island Rd; died Monday (Dec. 27, 1971) in a Madison nursing home after a long illness.

Born in Wonewoc, Mr. Schroeder was an insurance agent in Baraboo until he moved to Madison several years ago. He was a World War I veteran.

He married Marvaline Norman, and was a member of the East Side Lutheran Church, Madison.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Herb LeMoine, Platteville; and Mrs. James Edwards, Las Vegas; two sons, Dr. Norman Schroeder, Manitowoc; and James, Cleveland, O.; four sisters, Mrs. Alta Roehrs, Wonewoc; Mrs. Wilma Bechthold, Wauwatosa; Mrs. Hilda Baake, and Mrs. Fern Schlemiel, both of Florida; and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Pratt Funeral Home, Richland Center, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
