Pottstown Mercury, Pottstown, PA dtd 27 Feb 1943:
Henry Dinkelocker, 54, of 228 High St, dropped dead on the sidewalk in front of a store at High and Kelm sts, at 3:15 pm yesterday. He was employed in the heating department of a war plant on S Kelm St. He finished work at 3 o'clock, walked to the store where he bought a newspaper and stepped outside of the store door. About five feet from the store he collapsed.
Goodwill ambulance was summoned and took him to the Homeopathic hospital where he was pronounced dead by Dr. William L. Frank, who attributed death to a heart attack.
Dinkelocker weighed 400 pounds and it took six men to lift him into the ambulance. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. McLaughlin.
The man was identified by Horace Y. Seidel, personnel officer at the plant.
He was a veteran of the World War No. 1 and was a member of Pottstown Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He spent 17 months in the service.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for Henry H. Dinkelocker, 228 High St, who dropped dead on the sidewalk at High and Kelm sts Friday afternoon, will be held in a Trappe funeral home tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. Burial will be made Wednesday at Hazleton.
Mr. Dinkelocker is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Philip Dinkelocker and Mrs. Norman McLaughlin, Neiffer; Frank Dinkelocker, U.S. Army, and Mrs. Eleanor Eshbach, Pottstown R. D.
