Harvey Jonathan Totten,son of Oliver and Sarah Totten,was born in the town of Marshall,Richland County,February 21,1874, and passed away at the home of his son,Virgil, in Richland Center,October 30,1929 at the age of 55 years,8months and 9days.
On February 16,1896,he was united in marriage to Leathea E. James,of Bloom City,and to this union were born five sons and two daughters.
He leaves to morn his passing three children,Virgil of Richland Center,Kenneth of Antigo,and Mrs. Emery Setzer of Hillsboro:three grandchildren,three sons,one daughter and his wife having preceeded him in death.He is survived by two sisters,Mrs.G.N.Warren of Gillingham,Mrs.D.J.Morris of Richland Center;two brothers,Arthur G. of Blue River and Rolland J. of Houghton,N.Y. besides many other friends and relatives.
The family moved to Crandon,WI.,in 1906 where they resided until the death of his wife and two children in October 1918,since then having lived in various places.
Funeral services were held on November 1 and burial made in the Bloom City Cemetery.(contributed by Meredith Morgan,Thank you Meredith!)
