His father died young and mother remarried to 2/h William Orin Brown in Cour d' Alene, Kootenai Co., Idaho. The family of William Orin Brown moved to Tanwax Pierce Co., WA. After William Orin Brown's death in 1937 Winnifred E. Brown and Duffey children moved to Everett, WA.

RALPH OTTO DUFFEY
Ralph O. Duffey, 43, of 4032 Hoyt Avenue, died at a local hospital early Sunday from injuries received while working at the Weyerhaeuser Pulp Company Thursday. Mr. Duffey was born in Coalfield, Iowa, April 19, 1902, and had resided in Everett for the past twelve years. He was a member of the Calavry Baptist Church of Everett. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Henrietta Pearl Duffy of 4032 Hoyt Avenue; three daughters, Jeannette, Ruth, and Laura duffey, all at home; two sons, Ralph and David Duffey, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Winnifred Brown of 3425 Colby Avenue; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Winsborough of 3425 Colby Avenue and Mrs. Wininfred Buckner of 3510 Wetmore Avenue; three brothers, Merle Duffey of Tacoma, Joseph Duffey of Shelton and Arthur Duffey of Kemmerer, Wyo. Funeral services will be annonced later from the funeral home of Purdy and Walters.

Funeral services for Ralph Otto Duffey, 43, of 4032 Hoyt Avenue, who died at a local hospital early Sunday from injuries received in an accident, will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the funeral home of Purdy and Walters with the Rev. William Slone, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church of which Mr. Duffey was a member, officiating. Burial will be made in the Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
