Della Belloni
MYRTLE POINT - Della Laura Belloni, 80, died Aug. 8 in Roseburg. She was born April 4, 1891 in Arago, and was a lifetime resident of the Myrtle Point area.
With her husband she operated City Oil and Fuel Co. for many years. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Business and Professional Women of Myrtle Point, the Zuliema Temple of Daughters of the Nile, and a 60 year member of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Robert, Portland; and Harold, Newport; two daughters, Delores Furman, Reedsport; Phyllis Caughell, Roseburg; two sisters, Leeta Lindebeck and Sylvia Knight, both of Springfield; two half-sisters, Vera Johnson Salem; and Doris Mitchell, Portland; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A third son, Roy preceded her in death in 1931.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Myrtle Point Chapel of Coos Mortuaries with the Rev. Orlo Hoye of St. James Episcopal Church officiating. Members of the Order of Eastern Star will assist at interment ceremonies at Norway Cemetery. The casket will be open to friends until 11 a.m. Friday.
