Mrs. Emaline Hocker died March 10th, 1892. The deceased was born in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 1836, married March 26th, 1854. Received the rite of confirmation from the Evangelical South church in 1856. Moved to Missouri, and settled in Polk County in 1866, where she recommended the religion which she professed by her Godly walk and conversation. She leaves those who knew her as friends, and with no one is there an unkindly feeling.

[Note--this short memorial was found among some papers, but was a clipping cut out with no publication date or name of publisher. I assume it was one of the Bolivar, MO papers since that was where her residence was.] D. Keith [great granddaughter]
