Passing of a Pioneer.
The death of Mrs. Nancy M. Bohon took place at her home near Nelsonville, this county, Wednesday, April 21st (sic), at the age of eighty-nine years, eleven months and twenty days. She was among the oldest citizens of the county, having come here when only four years old from Harodsburg, Mercer county, Kentucky. She was the wife of Joseph Bohon, who survives her, and she has lived in the Nelsonville vicinity ever since her arrival in Missouri in the year 1834. She was an excellent woman and devoted Christian, having united with the New Providence Presbyterian church in the fall of 1849, and has remained a faithful member ever since that time.
