Avery Elizabeth Miller passed peacefully in the arms of her mother and father on May 4, 2012. She was born at 5:31 p.m. on April 21, 2012. During the 13 precious days Avery was with us, she touched the hearts of so many.

Avery was the daughter of Ashton and Katie Miller, both stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her great-grandparents, Val and Delores Miller and Dave and Elaine Davenport; her grandparents, Ed and Shirlee Miller and Tom and Tammy Floyd; her many uncles and aunts including Rachel Burnett, Alex Tonnison, Rebecca and David Hefley, Madison and Keaton Miller, Elizabeth and Chad Touchet, TJ and Claudia Floyd, Mikael, Rachel and Jason Floyd, Sue Davenport and Alix Fils-Aime; and numerous cousins including Sarah Fils-Aime, Shae-Lynn and Iziah Touchet, Francesca Floyd, Ellie and Emery Hefley.

Avery gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth, before going to meet Jesus. "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart" Winnie the Pooh.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with the Rev. Mark D. Brumbach officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hill Memorial Park.
