Jessie White, 84 years old, one of the pioneers of Hendricks county, died at his home a mile south of Plainfield Tuesday of last week, of old age. He had been in poor health for several weeks. He was very well-known in Hendricks and Morgan counties, having for years conducted one of the largest nurseries in the State. He was a lifelong member of the Friends’ church. He leaves three children, Dr. White, of Avon, Miss Lulu White of Plainfield, and C. C. White of Indianapolis.
