SUBLIMITY - Helen C. Cunningham passed away on Monday, April 23rd in Stayton. She was 94 years old. She was born in Ashland, Ohio to Edith and Andrew Hendrickson. The family moved to Ontario, CA in 1922 where she went to school. After Jr. College in 1943 she moved to Hollywood to work at CBS-Radio & TV for 20 years as a Music Librarian. There she met and married her husband, A.J. Cunningham, who won 3 Emmy awards as a Technical Director. Upon his retirement, they moved to Palm Desert, CA in 1975. He preceded her in death in 1981. Helen remained in Palm Desert where she was active playing piano at the College, Joslyn Center, and the Baptist Church. In 1992, after bouts of cancer, she moved to Oregon to be near her only surviving sister, Miriam Dutton, who preceded her in death in January of this year. Helen is survived by nieces, nephews and numerous, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 1st at 10:00 am at Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton, OR.

Memorials may be made to the Salem Union Gospel Mission or the Salvation Army .
