ONEITA MONTGOMERY PARSONS, 87, of Somerville, Tenn., homemaker, died of cardiac arrest Saturday at Methodist Hospital of Fayette in Somerville. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Somerville City Cemetery. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home of Somerville has charge. She also managed a family-owned farm and numerous real estate interests in Fayette County. She was a member of Somerville First Presbyterian Church and had served as Sunday school pianist. She was a graduate of Fayette County High School and had attended Union University in Jackson, Tenn. Mrs. Parsons, the widow of Herbert Parsons, leaves two sons, Dr. Herbert Lynn Parsons of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Dr. Jerry M. Parsons of San Antonio, Texas, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Somerville First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
