SPRINGFIELD - Addie Louise Barlow, 96, died Saturday at Penacook Place in Haverhill, MA.
She was born Oct 16, 1908, in Haverhill, daughter of Fred and Sarah (Leonard) Maynard.
She attended schools in Haverhill and was a 1921 graduate of Haverhill High School.
Mrs Barlow had lived in Springfield since 1930.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield, the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Barlow of Haverhill and Elmer Barlow of Weathersfield; two daughters, Barbara Thomas of Newton, NH, and Elinor Leavitt of Haverhill; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sanford B Barlow, in 1980, four brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 pm at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. The Rev Richard Cedarholm, pastor of the North Springfield Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield at a later date.
Friends may call Tuesday from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be held at 12:30 pm in the chapel.
Contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 366 River St, Springfield, 05156.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
