sp Shirely Leeper∼Robert P. Adams, 67, of Harrisburg, died Sunday in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He was retired from the former state Department of Environmental Resources; a graduate of Johnstown High School and the University of Pittsburgh; served in the Army Reserves; was a member of Cooper Avenue Methodist Church, Johnstown, Gov. Pinchot Civil War Roundtable, Camp Curtin Historical Society and Susquehanna Rovers Volksmarch Club; a life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers; and a past committee member of Boy Scout Troop 230.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Leeper Adams; a son, Roger P. of Duncannon; two daughters, Cynthia Dunn of Camp Hill and Constance Alexander of Port Deposit, Md.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church of Fishing Creek Valley. Graveside services and burial will be in Westminister Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, at noon Friday.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday in Guss Funeral Home, Mifflintown.
