Celese Alves 60, of Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Hollywood Memorial Hospital. Born August 19, 1951 she was the daughter of Doris (Durham) Evans and the late Jerome Robert Evans Sr. She is also survived by her children Alicia Gebar, Nicole McKenzie and her husband Steve, Gina Alves and Tarik Alves and his wife Vanessa; her sisters, Gail Evans-Warr and her husband Robert and Kathy Evan; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren and a host of cousins. She was the sister of the late Jerome Evans Jr. Calling hours in Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton on Tuesday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
