Pauline C. Gaertner of Freeland, Michigan, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 83 years. Pauline was born February 27, 1927, in Saginaw to the late William and Bessie (Shook) Holstrom. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Gaertner; children, Gladys Meyer, Penny Erdman, Barbara Daniels, Betty (Harry) Hart, and Bob (Marie) Gaertner; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road.
