Laura Alice Moxley, the second daughter of Henry and Laura E. Moxley, was born March 9, 1894, near Madison, KS. She departed this life Feb. 18, 1918, at the age of 23 years 11 months and 9 days.
Her death was caused by a complication of diseases from which she had suffered since the early summer of 1916.
she leaves to mourn her loss, her father, mother, four sisters, Mrs. Wm. J. Campbell, Erma, Abbie, Nellie, and one brother, Dale. Three sisters have gone on before.
She united with the Christian church at Lamont, Ks, Jan. 24, 1915.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Bowen at the family home. The body was placed by her sister in No. 8 cemetery.
