DIED - At the home of his mother at 12:30 o'clock a.m., Wednesday, March 18th, 1903, of pneumonia, Charles S. Holzapfel, aged thirteen years. Owing to the serious illness of Mrs. Holzapfel with a like ailment, the funeral was held at the home of Undertaker Eggleston at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Hestwood preached an appropriate sermon. Charley was a promising boy, one who readily made friends and was liked by all. He will be particularly missed around the Chronoscope office, where he was fond of spending his leisure time and lending assistance at anything he could do.
