Miss Susan Jeanne Chaffee, 39, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 15, 2012 following a lengthy illness.
Susan was a native of Jacksonville and preceded in death by her father, S.W. Chaffee. She is survived by her mother: Jeanne Holmes Davis (Bill); her brothers: William Davis, Jr. (Alisa), John Davis, Robert Davis and a brother-like cousin, Christian Cagle; her sisters: Sheril Whitehouse (Chris), Cheryl Sellers and Renee Bare (Randy); several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a large family of friends, especially Tommy Easterly.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 6131 Terry Road, with Dr. H. Gene Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America in Susan's honor. PEEPLES FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES is serving the Chaffee Family.
