Betty O'Neil "Boo" Ozmore Bishop, 68, of McKenney, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late Floyd Allen Ozmore Sr. and Martha Nadine Townsend Ozmore. Betty was preceded in death by a son, William Wayne Bishop, and two sisters, Anne Jeanette Tucker and Priscilla Kay Stout.

She is survived by her husband, William "Sonny" Bishop; daughter, Glenda Sue Maitland (Reese) of Spotsylvania, and a granddog, Angel Lynn; sister, Mary Sue "Polly" Daniel of McKenney; two brothers, Floyd Allen "Bo" Ozmore Jr. (Shirley) of Petersburg and Dallas Wayne "Joe-Boy" Ozmore (Ellen) of McKenney; a devoted friend, Christie Bowen Fleming.

Betty loved her family and will be missed by many.

A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, at Mansons United Methodist Church, McKenney, Va., with the Rev. Karen Workman officiating. Tendered services by Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, Blackstone. Registry and condolences via www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com.
