Bernice A. Lorentzson age 85 of Climax, MN passed away on Thursday Evening, May 10th, 2012 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Bernice Almira Lorentzson was born on March 19, 1927 in Trail, MN, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Tollefson) Weberg. She was baptized and confirmed at the Sand Valley Lutheran Church in Trail. She attended Trail Public School. In March of 1962, Bernice was united in marriage to Clifton Lorentzson at Sand Valley Lutheran Church. The couple spent their entire married life in the Climax and Buxton area. Clifton passed away in June of 1993. Bernice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Bernice will be remembered and loved by all for her kindness and compassion for everyone who entered her life. She loved to laugh and socialize with friends and family.
Family members of Bernice include her son Doyle (Lois) Heden of Buxton; grandchildren, Doyle (Carmen) Heden Jr. of Moorhead, MN, Derek (Lisa) Heden of Fargo, ND, Heidi (Chad) Durand of Moorhead, MN and Holly (Brian) Schlapkohl of Hendrum, MN along with five great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Weberg of Trail and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice is predeceased in death by her parents and three brothers, Mervin, Ervin and Donald Weberg.
