Judith Mallinger

A former elementary school teacher, Judith Mallinger, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, at St. Mary's Hospital-Ozaukee, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.

Miss Mallinger, 47, of 124 N. Moore Rd., Port Washington, was born in the city on Oct. 27, 1944. She was the daughter of Raymond and Edna Meyer Schaefer.

She operated a support group at St. Mary's Hospital-Ozaukee for multiple sclerosis patients, and was a member of both the Wisconsin and the National Multiple Sclerosis Societies.

She was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington.

Miss Mallinger is survived by her son, Michael of Port Washington, and two grandchildren.

She is also survived by her parents, Raymond and Edna Schaefer of Port Washington, and her sisters, Barbara Splinter of Marshfield, Mary Ann Heuerman of Aron Lake, Ohio, and Karen Hildebrand of Albany, Calif.

Funeral services for Miss Mallinger were held Friday, Sept. 11, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. The Rev. Martin Moehring officiated.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.

Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through the Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.
