William J. Kemp Grand Ledge Age 90, passed away January 29, 2013. He was born April 26, 1922 in Negaunee, MI to the late William H. and Ethel (Tonkin) Kemp. He graduated from Eastern H.S. and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a metallurgist at General Motors for 37 years. Bill was an avid ball player, bowler and golfer and enjoyed activities involving his grandchildren. He is survived by children, William (Laurie), MaryLou VanSickle, Pamela (Elmer) Nagy and David (Barb); 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister Marjery Melichar. He is preceded in death by wife Margaret "Peg". Memorial visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2013, 3-8 p.m. at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home Grand Ledge. Memorial contributions can be made to G.L. Bullpen Club, Bright Focus Foundation or your choice of charities.
