GEORGE H. RINKER

Word has been received of the death of George H. Rinker, 83, formerly of Easton, last Wednesday in Wilmington, Del.

Mr. Rinker moved to Wilmington about a year and a half ago to make his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Reginald F. Winans, 203 Murphy Rd. He had been ill and confined to a nursing home for a number of months before his death.

Mr. Rinker was a printer most of his life. He was employed by The Easton Express for a number of years before moving to Scranton, where he was employed by the Scranton Tribune. He retired about nine years ago.

After his retirement he returned to Easton where he resided until the death of his wife, Rose M. in 1957.

He was a member of the International Typographical Union, Aldergate Methodist Church, Wilmington, and the IOOF

Surviving, in addition to his daughter, are a brother, John Rinker, Claymont, Del.; a sister Mrs. Robert DeHart, Easton; a foster daughter, Mrs. P.H. Tovell, Scranton; two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral was held Saturday in the McCrery Funeral Home, Wilmington, Del. Interment was in Easton Heights Cemetery.
