Ada L. Irwin

Ada L. Irwin, 91, of Topeka, passed away at a care facility in Rossville on Saturday Aug. 4, 2007. She was born Aug. 30, 1915 in Ellsworth County, the daughter of Clay H. and Dora R. (Anderson) Forney. She was united in marriage to Henry Lester Irwin on Aug. 24, 1937 at Miltonvale, KS. Henry preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2005. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Topeka.

Survivors include her son, Clifford Irwin and his wife Glenda of Topeka; daughter, Ruth Cutshall and husband Neil of Guys Mills, PA; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
She will lie in state from 1-9 Monday where the family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Hospice in care of the funeral home.
