Brian Keith 'Boog' Johnson, 43, of Sioux City passed away unexpectly Tuesday, 22 March 2005, at his residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Christy - Smith Morningside Chapel, with Rev. Gerald Feierfeil of Church of the Nativity officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Brian was always thinking of others, so anybody that attends the funeral, please dress as he would wish you to.
Brian was born 15 August 1961, in Sioux City, the son of Leonard Leroy & Marlene Mary (Eickholt) Johnson. He attended & graduated from East High School in 1979.
He married Kimberly Ann Reinbold on 21 May 2004. He was employed with Bekins Distribution, Hy-Vee, Farner-Bocken & most recently with Sara Lee. He was of the Catholic faith. His favorite activities included playing ball at Floyd Softball Complex, being an avid Denver Broncos fan, hunting, especially duck, pheasant & deer, & bowling.
He was a "Big Giant" kind of guy, all 6'7" of him. His size matched his heart, which always had a touch of softness. He was a hard worker who strived to do a good job. He loved his God, family & Friends. He will be sadly missed by all that ever knew or met him.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly; a daughter, Ashley Kay Ruble; a stepson, Justin Skidmore of Minneapolis; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Skidmore & her special friend, Justin Jenn of Sioux City; his father, Leonard Leroy Johnson of Tyrone, Okla.; his mother & stepfather, Marlene Mary (Eickholt) & Don Zacek of Sioux City; a brother, Bruce & Tracey Johnson of Sioux City; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Reinbold of Sioux City; a stepbrother & his wife, Darrell & Cindy Colwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; & numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Reinbold; maternal grandparents, Tony & Ida (Dandurand) Eickholt; paternal grandparents, Howard & Pauline (Hanson) Johnson; & paternal step-grandparents, Clyde & Pauline (Johnson) Streeter.
