John Thomas Mudd, son of Mr. and Mrs Foster M. Mudd was born June 16 1887, near Olney, Mo. He passed away a Hillcrest Memorial Hospital, Tulsa, Okla., Wednesday, September 17, 1941 at the age of 54 years, 3 months and 1 day.
On Sept. 15, 1909 he was united in marriage to Orah Mae Luelf of Truxton, Mo. This union was blessed with two sons, Vernon Louis and Oscar John, both of Tulsa, Okla.
He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife, the two sons, one daughter-in-law, Grace, two grandson, Vernon Eugene and Jerry Hugh, his mother, Mrs. Ada Mudd, two sisters, Mrs Beulah Vernatti of Chicago and Mrs. Molly Aston of Bellflower, and one brother, Oscar Mudd, also of Bellflower. His father, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the Bellflower Presbyterian church and interment took place in the Bellflower cemetery.
