Born September 24, 1910, at Linwood, WV, he was the son of the late David A. and Eva S.(Kramer) Varner.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mary A. (Sheets) Varner, and one brother, John P. Varner.
He is survived by two children, Eva L. (Varner) Neighbors of Baltimore, MD and Homer M. Varner Sr., of Painesville, OH.
Also, a son, Edward L. Varner, died February 1, 1991.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, 1991 at the Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale, WV.
