VACLAV NAJEMNIK

Vaclav Najemnik, 86, a county resident for three score years, died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anna Hanson, of 413 Cleveland avenue. He fell six weeks ago and since then his health failed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. Frank Junek officiating. Interment will be in the Melnik cemetery.

Mr. Najemnik was born in Bohemia in 1854 and 64 years ago married Miss Anna Benda. Four years later they came to the United States and located on a farm in Gibson. He retired 20 years ago and with his wife located in this city. Mrs. Najemnik died a year ago.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Hanson, Mrs. Gust Olson of this city, Mrs. Joseph Novak of Gibson; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
