Melisa Ruth Harley Augustson, 24, of Alma, Georgia, formerly of Girard, Kansas, was found murdered in her home in Alma. She was killed by an intruder.
Daughter of Maurice and Terri Sims Harley.
She graduated from Girard High School in 1995 and from Pittsburg State University in 1999.
She married C. Michael Augustson in Girard on June 24, 2000. The couple moved to Alma, Ga.
Sister of Cordell and Seth Harley.
Granddaughter of Huston and Ruth Sims, and Jessie and Oren Gray.
