Walker was a member of Central Christian Church, the Delight City Council, and the Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Geneva Doss Walker, two sons, Clyde Thomas Walker of Danville and Delbert Doss Walker of Prairie Grove; his mother, Mrs. Josie Scott Walker of Delight and a grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday at Central Christian Church in Delight. Burial was in Delight Cemetery by Murry-Ruggles Funeral Service.
Frank Bowlby, pastor of the First Christian Church of Murfreesboro, was the officiating minister.

IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME around the Smart Table without our good friend Ersal Walker. Mr. Walker died Saturday. He was one of our family here and we always looked forward to seeing him and talking to him. He had a good sense of humor and I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He would always try to get everyone to slow down and have a cup of coffee and a bit of conversation, because he felt that people were more important than anything else.
