THIS IS MY BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL MOTHER, DEFINITELY A PRICELESS TREASURE

Anna Rose (Sis) Windle (nee Kieffer) was the beloved wife and best friend of Daniel E. Windle, Sr.; dear daughter of the late Edward A. and Anna M. Kieffer (Murray); dearest mother of Patricia (Ramon) Timberman, Daniel E. (Robbie) Windle, Jr., Kathy (Dave) Skarstad, Nancy (Rich) Alles, Michael (Rebecca) Windle, Debbie (Dave) Jackson and James (Susan) Windle; dear grandmother of 9; great-grandmother of 3; step-grandmother of 2; sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and dear friend.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 18 at Lutheran Church of the Atonement in Florissant, MO with Pastor Vernon Skarstad officiating.

Anna Rose was a woman who loved life. She was totally devoted to her husband and her children. Anna Rose always made anyone around her feel welcome. She enjoyed all the holidays but especially loved the Christmas season. She loved all children, family get-togethers, arts and crafts, bright colors, root beer floats, lots of laughter. She was a great cook, very creative person and an excellent seamstress. She loved animals, had a heart of gold and will be missed by all.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away --
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets --
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost --
and she is loved so much.
