A funeral for Charley Lee Acuff, 60, of 2613 Triana Blvd., who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Third Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Fincher and the Rev. Carl Spraggin officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mable Acuff; one son; Charles W. Acuff of Huntsville; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Davis of Huntsville; one stepson, Leeman Mills of Huntsville; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Whitt of Spencer, Tenn.; one sister, Margie Hale of Spencer, Tenn.; one half-brother, John Buford of Michigan; one half-sister, Mrs. Willie Whitt of Sparta, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Reed Hendrixson, Bill Thrower, Ed Bailey, Jim Rhodes, Harold Gentle and Harry Blalock. The body will be at Spry Funeral Home until time of service.
