Wanda "Granny" Yeary was born Monday, January 24, 1927 in Lee County, Va. and departed this walk of life on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Lee Regional Medical Center in Pennington Gap, Va. at the age of 85 years. She was a homemaker and the wife of Bradley Ray Yeary. She was a pastors wife for 58 years and a charter member of the Woodway Church of God. Her life was devoted to serving God, her family and determined to make Heaven her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Kelly and Lottie Burkhart, her husband Rev. Bradley Ray Yeary, one infant daughter Darlene, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one daughter Helen Jones and husband, Howard of Woodway, Va., two sons Dennis Yeary and wife, Margaret of Castlewood, Va. and Larry Yeary and wife, Shirley of Woodway, Va., seven grandsons Donny Moore and wife, Crissy of Crestview, Fl., Bradley Yeary of Greensboro, NC, David Yeary, Brian Yeary and wife, Lorrie of Castlewood, Va., Matthew Yeary and wife, Sarah of the Seminary, Andrew Yeary and wife and Diedre of Jonesville, Va., eight great-grandchildren Heather Moore of Knoxville, TN, Ethan Yeary of Castlewood, Va., Darrien Yeary of Dryden, Va., Sybella Yeary of Woodway, Va., Alyssa, Lucas and Mary Caroline Yeary of the Seminary, one sister Lottie Horton and husband, Lester of Stephens City, Va., a bunch of nieces, nephews and the family of the Woodway Church of God.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, Va. with Rev. Cliff Ely officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Tuesday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Va. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers for their Granny.
