Blanche Part Dawson, 94, was a native of Pointe Coupee Parish and a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana. She died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at West Feliciana Parish Hospital, St. Francisville, LA.

Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, LA service, with the Rev. John Senette officiating. Interment in Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery, St. Francisville.

She is survived by four daughters, Christine "Sally" DeLee of Weyanoke, Rosemary Seymour of Wakefield, Shirley and spouse Louis Bordelon II of White Castle, and "Jackie" and spouse John S. Tomb of Jackson; three sons, John B. Jr. and wife Marion Dawson of Kenner, Theodore M. Dawson of Baker and Lawrence J. Sr. and wife Rita Dawson of St. Francisville;

31 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Bennett Dawson; son, Charles Louis "Tut" Dawson; parents, Louis Part, Ellen Leonard Part and two sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Langlois, "Skeeter" McNeal, Elvis A. DeLee Jr., Gaston L. Bordenlon III, Ronnie LeBlanc and Eric Chambers.

Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Latham, Chris Morris and David Daniel.
