"Jeanette was born on 12 Oct 1917 William Henry and Lenora (Grice) Freeland in La Porte, Laporte Co., Indiana. During her lifetime she was involved in three marriages. Her first marriage was to Lester Joseph Sipole in 1938. They had a daughter, Janice Marie Sipole, who only lived for 4 years. Grieving over the loss of his child, Lester committed suicide in their home in April of 1946, less than 4 months after Janice's death.
Jeanette next married Oliver Thornburg in LaPorte, Indiana in 1947. It appears they divorced before 1952 as Oliver did not die until 1976.
On 12 April 1952 Jeanette married her third husband, Vern C. Schlicht. They remained married until his death.
There are no known additional children from these three marriages."
