Mrs. Ava Jane Sarvis Chestnut, wife of late George Melton Chesttnut of Wilmington NC, formrly of Conway, died December 25, 1959.
Mrs. Chestnut was born in Horry County and made her home in Conway until the past years and then was with a daughter in Wilmington.
Surviving are fours sons, Ollie Chestnut of Conway, James Chestnut of Conway and Arnold Chestnut of Wilmington and Lawrence Chestnut of Conway; three daughters Mrs. C. P. Wellington of Dillon, Mrs. O'Neil Cauldrer of Wilmington and Mrs. Rudolph Ray, Rt. 2 Galivants Ferry; a half sister, Mrs.. Beulah Chestnut of Lake Park Ga; 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
