Evelyn Daniels Vestal, 86, of 3218 Sycamore St., died at 7:42 p.m. Monday, June 3, 1991, in Union Hospital. She was a retired office assistant for Dr. Archer. She was born May 11, 1905, in Parke County to Lee Daniels and Mary Jane Archer Daniels. Her husband, Edgar Vestal, died in 1940. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Montgomery and Dorothy Lucille Vestal of Terre Haute; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday in Mattox-Wood North Terre Haute Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Hopkins officiating. Burial is in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
