Jacqueline Brigman Bailey, 70 of 100 West Robin Court, South Mills, NC went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 2, 2012 at Chesapeake General Hospital. A native of Lumberton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Henry P. Brigman and Nina Jackson Brigman and the devoted wife of fifty-four years to Martin Luther Bailey, Sr. She loved her family, fishing, and the Lord.
Besides her husband she is survived by five daughters, Jackie Elizabeth Bailey, Loretta Bailey Myers and husband Michael, Nina Bailey, Debbie Bailey, and Jennifer Michelle Bailey and companion Rigel Rischitelli; three sons, Martin Luther Bailey, Jr., and wife Terry, James Earl Bailey, and Joshua Michael Bailey and companion Ashley Bullock; sixteen grandchildren, Julia, Jeanie, Amanda, Matthew, Olivia, Caleb, J.J., Crystal, MacKenzie, Michael, Jr., Jaclyn Nicole, Stacy, Danny, Haley, Teddi, and Coral; fifteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Jeri, Ann, Nancy, Vicki, and Doris; a brother, Dickie; and many extended family and friends. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Martin Luther Bailey, III.
Funeral services will be Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Father's House Ministries, 1160 North Highway 343, South Mills, NC, with Pastor Roger Stables officiating. Burial will follow in Moyock Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be receive friends following the service at the residence.
