Born in Norfolk on Jan. 14, 1959, she graduated from First Colonial High School in 1977 and from Tidewater Community College in 1980 with an Associates Degree in recreation leadership.
She lived in Topping, Va., and was employed as an office manager and also was employed at Eckard's Restaurant. She was a synchronized swimmer for 14 years and competed in state, regional and national championships.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Steven Keating Campbell, 5-years, and his father, Lewis Campbell; her fiance, Lee Parker of Baltimore, Md.; her mother, Betty Ann Keating Miller; her sisters, Karen Keating Lincoln and husband, Edward Lincoln, and Kimberly Keating Nye and husband, John Nye; a brother, Richard Gordon Keating Jr.; seven nephews; several aunts and uncles; and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Gordon Keating Sr.; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow T. Keating Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Parker; and her stepfather, Charles W. Miller Sr.
The family will receive friends for the viewing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a reception at their home, 1348 Whittier Road, Virginia Beach.
