Mrs. Mary Dixon Dies; Services Set Wednesday
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dixon 77, Monroe resident died Monday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church at 1:30 pm. Wednesday, with Rev. Rhodes officiating. Interment will be at the Taylor Cemetery under the direction Hixon Brothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, John Robert Hudson, Los Gatos, Calif.one step son, Monnie Dixon, Pine Bluff, Ark; one daughter, Mrs Thelma Austin, Monroe ;one step daughter, Mrs Fannie Wells, West Monroe; one brother, Emmett McGough, Farmerville; three sisters, Mrs Ellen Jan Ward, Rocky Branch; Mrs. Docia Brantly, and Mrs. Delta Ramsey, Farmerville; 9 grandchildren and 28 great grand children.
