Mayrene E. Helliker, 82 of Leawood, KS, passed away on February 19, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 5, 1928 in Springfield, MO to Marcus and Jesse Jewell Costello.
She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was the focus of her life, and gathering everyone together was her greatest joy.
She is survived by five daughters, Pamela Cunningham of Overland Park, KS; Mary McPherson of Kansas City, MO; Sandra Rush (Wayne) of Queen Creek, AZ; Constance Martin (Michael) of Leawood, KS, and Amy Osborne (Michael) of Westwood, KS; twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Hadaller, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arthur F. Helliker; her parents and three sisters.
Private family services.
Pallbearers will be Michael Cunningham, Michael Martin, Joseph Martin, Michael Osborne, Ryan Osborne and Christopher McPherson. Burial will be alongside her late husband.
