Mrs Margaret L Britton, 87, of Frenchtown, Osceola Mills, died yesterday at 3 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs Henry (Erma) Forshey, of Phillipsburg,
Born March 29, 1881, at Chester Hill, she was a daughter of William and Alice (Wisor) Haines. Her husband, Olan, preceded her in death in 1953. She was a member of the Osceola Mills Church of Christ.
In addition to Mrs Forshey, with whom she made her home, Mrs Britton leaves three other children : Maynard, Jersey Shore; Alvin, Osceola Mills; and Kenneth, Philipsburg R. D. Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a number of brothers and sisters also survive.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Heath Funeral Home here in charge of the Rev Kenneth Whiles. Interment will be in the Umbria Cemetery,
Friends will be received in the funeral home tonight and until time of services tomorrow.
