Mrs. Aschenbach Dies On Sunday After An Illness

Mrs. Elizabeth Aschenbach, 54, of N. thirty-eight street, Sheboygan, passed away Sunday at her home following a lengthy illness.

Born on Feb. 24, 1890, at Whitehill, (must mean Whitehall, MI?) Mich., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Henckel, she came to Sheboygan as a young girl, and attended Washington School in this city. Her marriage to Emil Aschenbach was performed on April 24, 1914. The deceased had been in ill health for the past 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Fred (Mabel) Hermann, Manitowoc; Mrs. Edward (Luella) Praeger, Sheboygan, and Miss June and Betty, also of Sheboygan; and her father, Richard Henckel, town Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ballhorn Funeral chapels. The Rev. Samuel G. Beers, pastor of Wesley Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in Wildwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday evening until the time of services.
