She arrived in the United States in New York on the ship Oregon August 25, 1884 with her mother and three sisters. Her first marriage was to Charles Filmore Deaver July 13, 1907 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were living in Wilmington, Delaware in 1910. After his death in 1917 she married Charles E. Colgan before 1920. She died of chronic cardio and renal disease.
