Wallace Duane Christensen July 16, 1936 - May 16, 2012 Military Service: Airman First Class, 3277th, Basic Military Training Squadron at Parks Airforce Base, California. He was commended for demonstration of leadership, skillful instruction, devotion to duty and ability to inspire teamwork resulting in victory in completion of flights 302 in group flight competition, October 24, 1955. He was transferred to the 3320th Technical Wing, Amarillo Airforce Base, Armairllo, Texas, where he was discharged December 1958. He received the Good Conduct Medal. He resided in Bakersfield from 1997 to 2012. He was born in Nephi, Utah. Services will be held Thursday, May 24th at 2:00pm at the Bakersfield National Veterans Cemetery with full Military honors.
